Roles & invitations
Owner, Admin, Partner, Deal team, Finance, Operator and Viewer — plus external guests and investors who see only what is granted. Invitations are links you share yourself.
The operating system for buying, building, and exiting businesses. One workspace connects your deals, companies, evidence, and capital.
Financials shouldn’t lose their source when they enter a model. A committee decision shouldn’t lose its assumptions at closing. An operating result should connect to the thesis that made you buy.
Acquifolio brings those moments together, so your team can see the evidence, the decision, and the next action in the same place.
One company record. Distinct financial definitions.
A complete trail of evidence and judgment.
A mandate, a relationship, and a clear next step. Keep the source behind every opportunity.
Separate seller claims from supported earnings. Carry evidence and review history into the decision.
Connect earnings to price, financing and downside. See what each assumption changes.
Keep the entry thesis intact. Track accountable initiatives and measure each benefit once.
Trace capital events to investor allocations. Understand returns, liquidity and secondary exposure.
Prepare supported evidence and compare headline consideration with time-adjusted proceeds.
The platform also includes Academy, PriceLift, RollupOS, Playbook40, FranchisePulse, CovenantIQ and Docket Intelligence, all available in v2. Data comes from manual entry and file import; licensed data feeds and system connectors are planned and are never shown as live.
Take the product tourFollow a financial finding all the way to an operating baseline.
Review a seller adjustment against a specific evidence reference. Keep the claimed and accepted amounts distinct.
Revised earnings create a new case version. Underwriting changes, and prior committee approvals become stale.
Resolve critical diligence requests and approve the current case. Keep the human decision and review basis.
Confirm a signed close once. The supported earnings become a frozen entry baseline and the Day-0 plan begins.
Choose the workflow that fits your firm.
Keep the entire investment lifecycle in view.
Move from target to a defensible investment case, with seller earnings, price assumptions and critical diligence in view.
Explore your workflowKeep entry assumptions close to actual operating results, integration priorities and measured value creation.
Explore your workflowConnect capital records with allocation reviews and inspect the assumptions behind performance and liquidity.

Reported, adjusted, covenant, and realized earnings are different measures. An entered forecast is different from a confirmed capital event.
Seven internal roles plus scoped guests and investors,
checked by the server on every request.
Owner, Admin, Partner, Deal team, Finance, Operator and Viewer — plus external guests and investors who see only what is granted. Invitations are links you share yourself.
Files attach to the record they support. Each version keeps its SHA-256 checksum, uploader and time; every view and download appears in the access log, and data-room PDFs can be watermarked per viewer.
Every change is recorded with the actor, record and time, and each record shows its own activity history.
Approvals bind to the version they approved, corrections link to the original, and stale edits are rejected rather than silently overwriting a colleague’s work.
IC decisions, closing confirmation and fund approvals are limited to the Owner and Partner roles. Organizations can sign in with OpenID Connect SSO and require authenticator-app MFA; SAML, SCIM, passkeys and email delivery are not yet available.
Review security & accessThe assistant reads; workflow rules prepare tasks.
People review, decide and approve.
Ask about a deal, company or fund. The assistant uses read-only tools with your own permissions, so it never sees more than you can. It cannot create, change or approve anything.
Every figure links to its source record with its definition and period. Estimates and assumptions are labelled, and a missing number is reported as unavailable rather than guessed.
Draft memo sections marked fact, estimate or assumption, with their sources. Nothing is saved until a team member inserts the draft and saves the memo.
When an NDA is recorded, earnings change, a covenant test reaches warning or a reporting package is overdue, a rule can create tasks, diligence requests, internal comments or review flags — previewed before activation, never duplicated.
No autonomous actions: rules never send email or change prices, terms, approvals or capital records. Questions are audited with metadata only. The assistant is off until an AI provider API key is configured, and investors never have it.
How access appliesChoose your operating profile. Expand with the investment lifecycle.
Packaging profiles group workflows available in v2. Commercial pricing, usage limits and specialist entitlements are being defined with pilot teams; no connectors are included yet.
Create a workspaceWhat is available, and what is not,
stated plainly.
Acquifolio v2 is available: team workspaces and access, acquisition from origination to closing, ownership and value creation, fund and investor operations, specialist workflows, the assistant and workflow rules. Data comes from manual entry and file import. The product tour marks every feature Available or Planned; nothing planned is presented as live.
Yes. Owners and Admins invite colleagues with a role, and outside advisors or investors with scoped grants. Invitations are links you copy and share yourself — Acquifolio does not send email yet. Role changes and removals apply on the member’s next request.
Acquifolio organizes evidence, assumptions and workflow decisions. Professional reports, legal conclusions, formal valuations and accounting remain with the responsible providers.
A new workspace can optionally start with clearly fictional sample companies, deals and funds. Sample records are never presented as real investment data.
Not yet. Today data comes in through manual entry, CSV/XLSX imports and evidence files. Text in uploaded PDF, Word and Excel files is extracted so it can be searched, and, when an AI provider API key is configured, financial statements, covenant definitions and LOI terms can be drafted from documents with a page and quote for every value, for a person to review and apply. Accounting, billing, bank and POS connectors, licensed company, court and benchmark data, and OCR for scanned documents are planned. Where a connector is not configured, the product says so.
No. It answers with read-only tools under your permissions and cites its sources; IC memo drafts are proposals you insert and save yourself. It is disabled until an AI provider API key is configured, and investors never have it.
Packaging profiles are defined in the product vision. Pricing, usage limits and specialist review entitlements will be refined with pilot teams.
Start empty or with clearly fictional sample data.
